Panama Visits Mykonos In Style
Panama hats can be a tricky accessory to pull off. For some men they look great, where on others the hat doesn’t do them justice. Unfortunately, I have yet to find the right one that suits me. There are factors that come into play when wearing a hat. The shape and size of the brim will ensure that the hat looks great on you. The standard brim width ranges between 1 3/4-2 inches. Anything larger than that should be worn by someone who is very tall. Otherwise, it will make you look short and dumpy, which is not a good look to have. Wear the hat, don’t let it wear you.
The gentleman pictured on the beach is wearing a classic style. He mentioned that he had it for ten plus years. I thought that it was in very good condition considering the amount of years he had it. He told me that the way to maintain the shape of your hat consist of two natural elements, water and dry air. If your hat loses its shape, simply wet the brim, shape it and let it dry in the sun.
The gentleman pictured below him has a more “swagger” look, which compliments his personality. Shaping the brim downward in the front and upward in the back will give a more fashionable look. Tilt it ever so sightly either to the left or right for that added touch. What captured me about this man were his tattoos combined with a refined look. Most people tend to associate tattoos with a “grunge” look. He obviously is not projecting grunge at all. Bravo!!!!!
In today’s fast paced world with everyone having a camera and access to the Internet at their fingertips, you always want to ensure you look and feel your best the minute you leave your dwelling.
